CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Elizabeth is a Clinical Psychologist with experience in both private practice and tertiary health care. She currently divides her time between Laneway Psychology Bulimba, and a tertiary hospital setting where she works in perinatal psychology and a specialist persistent pelvic pain clinic. Elizabeth prioritises the therapeutic relationship and values creating a warm and empathic environment that supports self-exploration, curiosity, collaboration, and personal growth.

Elizabeth works collaboratively with her clients to assist them move from a place of struggle to greater emotional flexibility and freedom. Elizabeth works from a relational and attachment focused framework that considers the influence of early attachment relationships and significant life events on current functioning.

Elizabeth has extensive training in a wide range of evidence-based treatment approaches including Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Circle of Security (COS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She uses an eclectic and collaborative approach to meet the unique and specific goals and personal style of individual clients.
